I have to admit that I had not heard about Glasvegas until recently. There was a lot of hype around their debut self-titled album so I felt the need to do my due diligence. What I received was an amazing surprise. Glasvegas, in my eyes, is the best new British band to cross into the U.S.
If you are an avid follower of MusicMastermind.com, you may know that this countdown has been known to follow foreign acts. British acts, in particular. I don’t know why this is. To be honest, most British acts bother me. Perhaps it’s just that the exceptional ones happen to be the best in the world…? Who knows? All I know is that Glasvegas definitely fits into this same category.
