Songwriter, producer, record-label owner, and technology entrepreneur Matt Serletic is the co-founder and CEO of the independent entertainment and technology company Music Mastermind. He has written, produced, and marketed recordings that have sold in excess of 110 million albums and have generated more than $1 billion in revenue for major label companies. Over a 14-year career, Serletic has written and produced records that have earned him multiple GRAMMY, ASCAP, BMI, Billboard, and CMA Awards, and his projects have been licensed by a multitude of major television networks and media companies. In 1999, he produced the most successful Billboard chart single in the rock era to date: Carlos Santana's "Smooth," which, since its release, has sold 25 million units.

Matt's first music company, Melisma, was founded in 1996 and has sold in excess of 50 million albums with artists like Rob Thomas and Matchbox Twenty. Owing to his success at Melisma, he was hired as Chairman and CEO of Virgin Records America, where he became the youngest-ever head of a major label. Over a four-year period, he successfully reorganized operations and improved the bottom line by $240 million. He is now Owner and CEO of Emblem Music Group, a recording and publishing company.

A native of Stone Mountain, Georgia, Matt developed his musical and managerial expertise in his teens as a young musician, band member, and session player. At the age of 13, he joined the band Collective Soul as a keyboard player and launched his career by producing their debut album. Matt earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Music Performance at the University of Miami School of Music, graduating with Honors and earning membership in Phi Beta Kappa.

Bo Bazylevsky

Over his 20-year career on Wall Street, Bo Bazylevsky has managed trading businesses for some of the most profitable investment banks in the Emerging Markets, including CS-First Boston, Bear Stearns, and JP Morgan (Chase). He has also been recognized by The Wall Street Journal and Asset Magazine as one of finance's superstars.

Immediately after graduating from college, Bo started his career as a markets analyst at CS-First Boston, and quickly rose through the ranks to become a Senior Corporate Bond trader there. After only two years, he was hired as Head of EM Corporate Trading at Bear Stearns, where he built Bear Stearns' Latin American and Asian bond trading businesses into the top Emerging Markets corporate trading desk on Wall Street. As a result, he was named one of The Wall Street Journal's "Hottest Rising Stars" in Emerging Markets in 1994. In 1998, Bo became Global Head of EM Corporate Trading at Chase/JP Morgan, where he managed the Latin American and Eastern European, Middle Eastern, and African trading businesses, and propelled JP Morgan into the top Emerging Markets trading house spot for almost a decade. Over his 10 years at JP Morgan Bo also served as Co-Head of EM Global Fixed Income Trading based in NY. Concurrently, Bo was head of JP Morgan's EM Special Ops Unit and served as Co-Chair of EMTA (the Emerging Markets Traders' Association). In 2007, Bo left JP Morgan to join hedge fund Moore Capital/James Caird Asset Management as a partner and Senior Portfolio Manager. At Moore/JCAM, he helped manage over $2 billion in assets, and was responsible for investing in the Latam, Asian and EMEA markets for debt, rates, currencies and select equities. In 2010, Bo was named one of the US's Top 3 Most Astute G3 Bond Investors by Asset Magazine.

Bo attended Cornell University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics/Business Management & Marketing. He currently serves as Treasurer for the Ukrainian Institute of America in Manhattan, a non-profit where he has held an Executive Committee position for close to five years. Bo enjoys spending time with his wife, two girls and two yellow labs, and enjoys basketball, surfing and snowboarding.

Dean Serletic

Head of Marketing & Licensing

Over the course of a 14-year career in the music industry, Dean Serletic has held senior positions in artist management, major label A&R, music publishing A&R, and executive label management.

Dean discovered Matchbox Twenty, and helped the band sell 15 million albums on their breakthrough tour as their Tour Manager and Accountant. Dean then became General Manager of Melisma Records, where he helped structure a joint venture label arrangement between Melisma and Arista Records. He also developed Round Tower Publishing, an upstart publishing company that produced two No. 1 and several Top 10 radio singles. Following his success at Melisma, Dean served for four years as the Senior A&R Representative for Virgin Records America and produced more than 2.5 million album sales worldwide, the most new artist sales of any staffer. Dean is now the President of Emblem Music Group, where he oversees the record label, as well as Emblem's artist management, publishing, and studio divisions.

Albert Lomeli

CFO

With over 20 years of experience under his belt, Albert Lomeli has proven himself an expert on finances in the entertainment industry.

A licensed CPA in the state of California, Albert started his career as an accountant at Arthur Andersen & Co. in Los Angeles. He then took a position at Warner Bros., where he worked as an Auditor in their Audit & Advisory Department and then as Assistant Controller of Warner Home Video. In 1995, Albert began work at Universal Music Group, where he remained for 14 years. Starting at UMG as Director of Accounting for GRP Records, Albert went on to serve as CFO for Geffen/MCA Records, VP of Finance & Planning for UMG North America, and VP of Finance/Controller for Universal Music Latin Entertainment. In March 2010, Albert joined the Music Mastermind team full-time.

Albert attended California State University, Northridge, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Option Accounting.

James Mitchell

CTO

James Mitchell is an accomplished senior technology executive, with extensive experience driving bottom-line performance through rapid innovation. His proven ability to build and lead highly effective development organizations have lead to delivering groundbreaking software products and services across the spectrum of consumer devices.

James most recent assignment was at Muve Music, where he served as Vice President of Technology and Engineering, delivering innovative, integrated digital music services to wireless carrier customers in the U.S. as well as international markets.

Prior to Muve, James served as Chief Technology Officer at Napster, where he drove service availability, customer satisfaction and scalability to millions of potential users, while significantly reducing hardware footprint and infrastructure support costs. He also aided in the development of the Napster music app across mobile and home entertainment platforms, which eventually became the leading consumption medium for the service.

James previously held technical and engineering positions at IGN Entertainment and Ephemera Digital Solutions, respectively, and is a graduate of the University of London, England, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in mathematical economics, with honors.

Scott Gilly

Scott joined Music Mastermind after nearly 20 years as a practicing lawyer, including having represented Music Mastermind as outside counsel. Following a successful first half of his career with the large, international law firm of Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP, Scott was a founding partner of Thompson Wigdor & Gilly LLP. In starting up and then growing his own firm into one of the most successful boutique employment law firms in New York City, Scott obtained invaluable "in the trenches" business experience to complement his extensive legal experience. His clients have spanned many of the largest and best-known multi-national companies around to some of the most successful CEOs, executives and professionals in their respective industries. Among many high-profile representations, Scott devoted a significant part of his career to representing Major League Baseball and a number of its individual constituent baseball clubs in player salary arbitrations and other proceedings before the Office of the Commissioner.

A life-long athlete, during college, Scott was a four-year letterman and Co-Captain of the Harvard University men's basketball team. After Harvard Scott earned his law degree when he graduated at the top of his class from Catholic University School of Law in Washington, D.C., where he was also Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. Scott is married and has three young daughters.
